A fanlisting is a listing of fans from around the world. This fanlisting is for the musician Tony Lucca.
I have been a fan of Tony's for a long time now. I became his fan when I watched him on the Mickey Mouse Club starting back in 1991. He stood out to me because he had such a great voice. He was also (as far as I know) the only cast member to perform with an instrument which only further proved his talent. After MMC ended, I lost track of Tony for a bit, but I was very excited to hear he was the opening act at the Nsync concert I was attending. I was able to meet Tony that night for the first time and have since met him two more times. I love how approachable he is. He just wanders around his shows before and after he performs. He includes his fans in his performances (including taking requests) and makes sure to meet as many fans as possible before leaving. Besides his great personality, his music is amazing. His music has been described as having an honesty not often found today. One of my favorite Tony Lucca songs, "The Huster, The Widow, and The Boy From Detroit" shows this sort of honesty with the lyrics "Bad things happen to good people every day" and "We've taken to outsourcing, yeah it's fucked but I hope you understand." But his music isn't entirely serious. A fan favorite, "All Up in Your Place" started out as a love song, but is now referred to as "The Stalker Song." I highly recommend checking out one of Tony's shows if he comes to a town near you. Tickets are usually very reasonably priced and Tony puts on a show you won't forget.
